STEAM Challenge 2023

Team India FGC 2023 as part of outreach activities conducted a STEAM challenge for the students of Goa to inspire the students in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. The challenge was to Create a strongest table using only newspaper sheets. The table surface should be minimum 30 cm off the ground. The winning team would be the one that can carry the maximum load.

Shailesh S. R. Sinai Zingde, Director of Education has issued a circular for participation of school students in the Goa STEAM challenge as part of the FGC 2023

Highlights of submissions:

  • Teams Registered: 240
  • Teams Submission Done: 145
  • Total Students Participating: 720 +
  • Girls Participating: 250+
  • 32 teams were shortlisted for the second round after thorough judging by the panel of judges from the 145 submissions received.
